Meet Erin: Passionate, Experienced, and Dedicated to your dog’s success.

Growing up in a family that bred, trained, and showed working breed dogs, Erin learned from an early age about how to interact with different temperaments, fulfill different breed-specific needs, and the subtle art of canine communication. Some of her fondest childhood memories are sneaking into the whelping box and being at the bottom of a puppy pile or working obedience and protection with Schutzhund Titled German Shepherds. She has over a decade of professional dog training experience, including working with one of the largest nonprofit service dog organizations. Throughout her career she has worked with a variety of different breeds, temperaments, and unique behavioral needs—ranging from Golden Doodles and Labradors to Giant Schnauzers and German Shepherds—and their owners with varying levels of experience, knowledge, and all different ages.

Her experience has taught her that every dog, regardless of breed or background, thrives with the proper guidance, structure, and of course, lots of love. Her mission is simple: to help dogs and their owners build a strong, trusting relationship, through clear communication and
proven training methods.

Due to noise issues with competitive dock diving lessons, we do not allow those types of lessons at Golden Hour. Erin will provide swim lessons and helping beginners get off the dock.​
